MIMARU OSAKA SHINSAIBASHI EAST

Kids loved the bunk beds and snacks at check in. Room felt spacious and well-thought out. Front desk was super friendly and helped us transport our luggage to the next city through a third party vendor because we missed the deadline for the Mimaru luggage transfer.

The location was excellent. Very clean and modern. Staff was friendly and helpful. Proximity to rail was great and to downtown, an easy short walk. Close to the action but of the beaten path so not too loud.

Rooms were extra small even for Japan. The room says it could accommodate 5 adults but that was not really accurate. We were on top of each other with no room for luggage. 3 people max per room would be my recommendation

Central location in the heart of the city amd nightlife. Clean, very large room, with extra beds and a lounge area.

Great clean place for family. Staff was great and laundry machines work well.

Did not have coffee machine inside room and had to do hand wash dishes each day.

The staff were super friendly, helpful and accommodating. Every interaction was with a smile and eagerness. Especially Tina, she assisted my family a lot during my stay and was great help, even making friends with my 7yo girl.

The pillows and beds could have been a bit better. Bed was a bit hard. Pillows were too soft and flat and small.

Location was good. Near a convenience store and food places.

Mosquitoes in the hallway (went there during summer).

We liked the location of the hotel and its cleanliness. It's a 10 min walk to Dotonbori

They didn't have iron and had to wait for 2 days to get one.

We liked it so much that we returned to stay at the same location after a short trip to Kyoto. Staff suggestions and food recommendations for the locale were spot-on!

Mimaru Shinsaibashi East is centrally located and within comfortable walking distance to Daimaru, Dotonburi and Stations. Clean, spacious and well-equipped. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Check-in & check-out was a breeze. My family and I enjoyed our stay here.

Location was really great! Walking distance to so many restaurants. Big dept store Daimaru dan train station are just 5 minutes away.Kids also enjoyed playing Bingo games provided by Mimaru to get some coins which can be exchanged to some snacks.

Futon bed for kids were not set up when we arrived, so we had to set them up ourselves. I also just realized that dishes are not being washed, so we have to wash ourselves after using plates and glasses etc.

Small lobby. All my requests (early check-in, late check-out) were denied.

Location was great; close to metro line. Staff was very helpful and friendly, they helped coordinate luggage transfer to Tokyo. Room was spacious, clean with a thoughtful layout.

Very minor nit - the USB chargers near the bed were not working; it would be good to have an outlet there as well in case the ports were broken.

Price is slowly becoming more expensive progressively. We notice this because we go to different Mimaru hotels at least twice a year.

Convenient location for shopping and late afternoon/evening food trip; kid/family friendly property and the staff were also very accommodating

Staff was so great with kids. Kind and helpful. Rooms were super clean and location was perfectly close to everything we wanted to do.

Mattresses were very firm. Pillows were small.

Walkable to the main areas for tourists - no shortage of food and shopping nearby. Very clean, and quiet at night, windows can open slightly for air. A supermarket is just around the corner. The kitchenette was functional. I got upgraded to a two room suite but it's the strangest layout. Furnitures are lacking: no bedside table, no shelving in the closet, very limited storage space at the kitchen, no seating except the dining chairs and a few small beanbags. It's a good but very basic accommodation. The room I have is designed for 6, which is doable but tight - which I think is normal in Japan.

Lovely big spacious room , perfect location to pick up our car at Toyota

Washing machine is public coin laundry, not exclusive to mimaru. It got quite busy and I was unable to use the dryer.
